The 6th Singapore Prestige Brand Award
The award formerly known as the Singapore Promising Brand Award (SPBA) is in its sixth year running and aims to recognize good branding practices and efforts made by local firms.

Mr Bean has won the Established Brand Award 2007, which was introduced this year as part of the Award Organizing Committee's efforts to distinguish brands that have displayed outstanding performance in the building of their brand name over 6 - 30 years. The Mr Bean brand is also voted by consumers as the Most Popular Brand 2007.

This is the 2nd consecutive year that Mr Bean has won this award. Both brand awards are excellent indicators on the brand's growth and performance.

Our brand promise "Life's simple pleasures" has definitely permeated into the hearts and minds of our supporters.

Professional Enterprise Award - PRESTIGE
The Professional Enterprise Award 2007 is organised by Asian Management Association (A.M.A.).

It signifies the organisations' superior business performance as a result of their Enterprise Professionalism incorporating Goal-Setting as well as System & Process Integrity.

Mr Bean is also awarded the excellence in corporate culture. Both awards signify the professionalism in Mr Bean which truly reflect the essence of the brand.

The Entrepreneur of the Year 2007 – A Rotary – ASME Award
Both founders of Mr Bean are awarded as one of the Top Entrepreneurs for 2007.

The Entrepreneur of the Year Award salutes and honours outstanding local entrepreneurs who have shown outstanding performance as business owners in their chosen field of entrepreneurship.

The founders have shown outstanding leadership and entrepreneurship in grooming the Mr Bean brand. They have strong belief in branding as an essential tool for the overall success of the business, hence, steady and constant effort and investment is placed on brand building.




The 5th Singapore Promising Brand Award
Singapore Promising Brand Award (SPBA) is jointly organized by ASME & Lianhe Zaobao to showcase and acknowledge Singapore businesses which possess exceptional brand qualities.

The Mr Bean Brand is created in 1995, which expresses the management's thoughts and culture. This home-grown brand is further nurtured by a team of dedicated professionals to its current success.

In 2006, The Mr Bean Brand attained outstanding recognitions from his participation in SPBA Award. Mr Bean won the following brand awards:

My Favorite Consumer Brand Award
SFMA and Shin Min Daily News jointly organized Singapore Food Expo 2006. In the annual Food Expo, the organizers hosted the augural customers' SMS voting for the Favorite Consumer Brand among the exhibiting companies.

Mr Bean received the highest SMS votes and awarded with My Favorite Consumer Brand Award 2006.

This brand award has re-affirmed our brand position in the market. It also reinforced our confidence in our belief that Mr Bean's simple, healthy and affordable products are able to revolve around our customer's lives, bringing them happiness, fulfillment and pleasure.

Spirit of Enterprise (SOE) 2004
Award endorsing entrepreneurial spirit in Singapore, the award honours local self-reliant entrepreneurs operating small and medium-sized businesses.

In 2004, Mr Bean was recognised as an inspirational account of resourcefulness, perseverance and drive, having come a long way from a stall in People's Park Hawker Centre to the many conveniently located outlets in Singapore today.

Now and always, its vision of always providing the freshest and highest quality of food and beverages is what spurs management and staff onward.

Pearly Soya Milk
In June 2001, Mr Bean launched a healthy version of Pearly Milk without forgoing the health benefits. Staying true to its promise, it's 100% fresh, 100% free from colouring and artificial flavour, therefore 100% healthy!

Our version of pearly milk has not only helped us penetrate other markets but has also brought a strong message to the consumer - that soya milk is good for health!

In fact, over a 3 month period, it was so unanimously well-received by customers that sales figures rose 300% higher.

Soya Ice-Cream
Mr Bean marketed the first-ever soft-serve soya ice-cream in Singapore. Containing just 4.79g of fat per serving (regular ice-cream contains about 16g), our soya bean ice-cream is rich soy milk that happens to be deliciously frozen.

Not surprisingly, it has been awarded the Healthier Choice label and is available in 2 different toppings: Chocolate rice or peanuts.
